Tadpoles remind me of the Summer just passed. As a family we went to a near by pond and fished for tadpoles, then took them home and put them into our own pond.
It was a fun few days we had when we went tadpole fishing and I hope days that our children will remember as they grow up.
The Daily Prompt ( http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2014/03/15/daily-prompt-pour-some-sugar-on-me/ ) was one which made me immediately think of a meringue Christmas Tree I made.
I cheated a bit and bought ready-to-use/eat mini meringues.
I stuck it all together with melted white chocolate and added some gold dust for something a bit fancy.
It didn’t last very long at all when the rest of the family found it!
I love the idea of this week’s WPC being “Inside”
The image I have chosen to use is of the disused World War 2 Oil Tunnels which are located in Darwin (Northern Territory, Australia).
It is now being used as a museum and is very interesting to go through.
Today’s Daily Prompt ( http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2014/03/10/daily-prompt-heat/ ) reminded me of a Cricket match I went to earlier this year.
As a professional sportsman (or sportswoman), you have a lot of people bearing down on you, pressuring you to play your best and then some. The crowd is there- all eyes on you. They are either cheering for you to do your best, or if they go for the opposition team, they are hoping you get out as quick as you got on the field.
It’s not only the people out on the field playing who can be put under pressure.
The media can also come under pressure, not only those in the limelight but also those who work behind the scenes. They are expected to get the scoop, get to the headlining story first, get the exclusive, be the photographer who gets “that shot”…
This is the result of light shining through a large glass window, through a glass “fence” onto the water.
This look is actually the result of some clever people (unsure as to who actually did this) who turned ordinary street lights into almost human objects with personalities.
It’s simply sand, taken as a macro photo. I love taking macro photos as it allows me to see things in a completely different light.
