Last weekend my husband and i took our children to the zoo.
It was quite busy but we managed to see some lovely animals during our visit.
This lioness was one of the highlights.
This image was taken with a Nikon P600 and shot through glass in a crowded viewing area.
In between a border of trees is an inviting gateway.
Just because the gate is locked, it doesn’t mean you can’t see the beauty that describes both Heaven and Earth.
You just have to learn to open your eyes and believe.
A lone shaving chair sits in the middle of a small room. It’s walls filled with trophies and other memorabilia of the resident’s involvement in the Horse Racing Industry.
This bedroom is a small part of Miles Historical Village (Miles, Queensland, Australia) and shows how some people lived in Australia’s early years.

This is the view I saw when I looked up during a day out in the city with my children recently.
Looking up is something I don’t often do when in the city as there are always lots and lots of people rushing about, trying to get to their destination yesterday. I don’t want to bump into others so I tend to not slow down and take everything in as much as I would do if I was somewhere more natural.
